funny thing when I dive?

My relatives, friends and some people who follows me on my instagram account (it is instagram.com/aimiosman just in case you don't know yet) knows or at least would see my diving photos and story updated once in a while. Some people even admitted that they thought all these while when I say I'm going back to Terengganu they though I'm going back to whatever island there is in Terengganu and stays there all the time. No sis.

At times the place I would decide to work at will be quite far from the boat and I do not want to waste my air going to the place I wanted to so I would normally snorkel first. Mind you, my supervisor does not allow me(us) to detach the snorkel from my(our) mask for scuba diving for safety purposes and to save air as much as possible. Sometimes I work in a very shallow area (below 5m) and I could last almost forever (read: until my sv asks me to finish right away cz she's tired waiting) so yeah, my air matters most!

So back to the snorkel story, there's this one thing that happens few times (cz my memory is like dory). I would descend confidently without changing my snorkel to my regulator. And once I'm like 2 feet below when I would start inhaling water instead of the compressed air in my tank will I realize this girl forget to change her air source. Smart girl so smart 😒
